About Karina

Karina Grijzen MSc.
I was born in 1972 in Scheveningen by the sea.

From a young age, I became fascinated by the human psyche and the invisible world of energy. I saw the life energy of people, nature spirits, and the spirits of the deceased. And I discovered that not everyone could see the same. These experiences shaped my life.

During high school, I read every book on spirituality and paranormal experiences I could get my hands on. I immersed myself in magical-realist literature and studied Carl Jung’s depth psychology.

A lifelong quest for insight into the soul, the invisible world of energy, and ancient healing practices began. When I discovered Qigong and Chinese medicine, everything fell into place, the Taoist worldview, depth psychology, the world of energy. There I found and my life’s calling: to help people on their path to healing.

Ardite for conscious living is my nonprofit organization, based in The Hague.
Ardite unites the energies of Artemis and Aphrodite, the Greek goddesses of independence, beauty, and creativity.
